Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress best known for her the roles she played in Hum Aapke Hai Koun. She began her career in the late 1980s, and rose into prominence thanks to her character in the Tezaab film, in which she appeared with an established actor Anil Kapoor. Next, she appeared with Aamir in Dil. Early on, as a girl growing up in the middle class of Mumbai, she started to dance. While still a teenager she attempted acting, however most films she attempted to make did not succeed. She eventually found success and was one of the leading actors within the Indian film business. After her marriage, she took an interruption in her career. The actress returned in later years. She was recently a key player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit received fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which eight she won. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honor in India. She has also been recognized for her efforts in the field of social work.
